YOUTH FOOTBALL
Fundamentally Youth Football is the bridge between the early introductory years to the senior game. There are 2 pathways for the youth player to consider, Community and Elite.Community football is football played anywhere at any level, in schools, clubs, private academies or local tournaments. Usually it is about playing with friends and having fun. But this pathway is also for the late developer as he /she grows in strength, starts to understand the game better and of course improve in the technical/tactical areas required of elite footballers. Everyone develops differently and through playing more games and improved coaching many players begin to realize their potential later in life and move to the elite pathway.
Elite Youth Academy Programs
Our long-term is to introduce elite academy programs in key football hubs throughout the country and develop the quality, increase our talent pool and expand our chances of identifying and recruiting talent. These Academies will also provide a pathway to National Leagues and National Teams for more players, Coaches and support staff.
AIM
All our Academy Programs to achieve AFC 3 star status and achieve a minimum of 75% succession rate to National Teams.
MISSION
Provide all Academy players with a holistic development program. Scholastic and Football Education are balanced and individually designed plans to maximize each players potential. ANFA will support, fund all requirements while enrolled in the academy program and report on individual development bi annually.
We will create a culture that encourages individual expression yet respect, humility and responsibility. The program will challenge, inspire and encourage the ambitions to go beyond their potential.
The Academy will provide a planned progression ( to National Teams & National League Teams) with clear guidelines or an exit plan if desired outcomes are not achieved.
